What it is
The Polish Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (PTLiAE) brings together psychotherapists, psychologists, doctors, educators, logotherapists, logo-prevention specialists, logo-educators and others interested in developing logotherapy in Poland. Its work is inspired by the legacy of Viktor E. Frankl.
History
The Society was established to integrate those working with logotherapy and existential analysis in Poland. The initiative came from the circles of:
- the Kraków Institute of Logotherapy,
- the LOGIKOS School of Logotherapy and Existential Psychotherapy,
- the ARCHEZJA Foundation for Supporting Education.
The current board has been in office since 15 April 2026.
Mission and goals
The Society's mission is to develop, promote and professionalise logotherapy and existential analysis in Poland and to spread the legacy of Frankl and his successors. Its goals:
- developing and popularising logotherapy,
- supporting research,
- training courses, seminars and conferences,
- certifying specialists and accrediting training programmes,
- safeguarding professionalism and ethics (the logotherapist's code of ethics),
- promoting mental health and human development.

Certification
The Society has two committees:
- the Accreditation Committee for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis - certification and accreditation in logotherapy,
- the Accreditation Committee for Logo-prevention and Logo-education - standards for prevention and educational programmes.
The committees certify specialists, accredit training programmes, verify competences and uphold ethical standards.
Cooperation
The Society's partners are the Kraków Institute of Logotherapy, LOGIKOS and ARCHEZJA. It also cooperates with the Viktor Frankl Institut in Vienna and the Logo Przestrzeń Foundation.
